Google Geek Street Fair
Volunteered with CMU IDeATe to participate in the Pittsburgh Geek Street Fair hosted by Google to inspire children to pursue careers in STEM fields. We provided middle-school aged children with a kit of laser cut parts as well as an array of fasteners to help them create puppets, robots, and other movable forms. The kit was based off of an initial draft of parts from Robotics for Creative Practice, which were used for creating simple robots and animatronic movements.
